The two doctors are fine, but I have had negative experiences with other staff. Yesterday's experience took the cake. My daughter was clearly anxious about the appointment. The woman doing her readings kept shaking her head and rolling her eyes. It was so blatant that I asked her if the readings were making sense. She turned to me and sternly said, "No." She was clearly annoyed with us. After my daughter's eyes were dilated, we sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes, and then in an exam room for an hour without magazines or TV. The doctor and assistant came in with no apologies. After the doctor left, I told the assistant that we had waited a long time and asked if it was a busy day. She told me that yes, it was busy. I told her I was going to need to look for a new provider because I cannot afford to take this much time off for one appointment. She didn't even look at me and said, "That's your choice." We were there 2.5 hours for one child's exam, and she didn't need glasses.
