Been coming here for years and the food is always excellent. Bit of a drive, but definitely worth it.

I'd heard a lot about Dreamland from friends. They weren't sure of directions but said the food was great. So on a Saturday afternoon, we set out to try and find the place. After a few false starts we got some good directions from a couple who run a gas station in Columbia, IL. We found the place and arrived about 4:00 in the afternoon. At first we weren't sure the place was open. The parking lot was empty. The schedule and an unlocked door confirmed they were indeed open for business, or so we thought. When we walked in a young man was lounging in the lobby but quickly left as we walked in. After ten minutes or so, he came back but never said a word to us. Another person came out and looked at the cash register but again nothing but silence. We waited 30 minutes (no lie I checked my watch) and no one said a word to us. By then I was disgusted and we left. I'll never go back. How can anyone stay in business with that kind of service?
