Provided by YP.comThis was the worst hotel experience of my life. The staff was incredibly rude -- as if they were well-experienced with upset customers. When we arrived, the person at the desk didn't honor the price quote we'd been given less than two hours earlier and charged us 50% more than the quoted price. We would've left if it hadn't been so late already. The carpets and upholstery was badly stained. The A/C didn't work, and the door handle of the bathroom fell off. After seeing the room, we asked for our money back and got a heavenly room at the Hampton Inn North Syracuse for less money and all sorts of bonuses. Seriously, this place is so bad that I feel bad for the rude staff that they have to spend any time there. Save yourself.

Provided by YP.comDo not stay here. The inn is poorly maintained, the staff is abrasive and bullying, and they bait-and-switch on their prices. I have never written a negative review of a hotel before, but I was dismayed at this business practices and want to spare as many people as possible from what my family and I experienced.
I visited this hotel while on a road trip with my wife and my elderly parents. I called from a near by town while having dinner and were quoted a rate of $95 for four adults. When we arrived, my father checked in while I attended to things in the car.
When we got to the room, we found it to be poorly kept. The door knob fell off the bathroom door, and the air conditioner did not work. My dad made a comment that it was pretty shabby for twice the price of our hotel the previous night. I asked him how much he paid and he told me $134 plus tax.
Surprised at the 40% higher price, I returned to the office with my dad and asked the woman at the counter about the change. She asked me who I had talked to earlier. I told her I didn't get the woman's name. She said "It was a woman? She left for the day so I can't verify that you were quoted $95." I don't know why she didn't just say that they were filling up and the room cost more now, but she didn't. When I expressed my displeasure at the bait-and-switch tactics, she told me that we could leave, but that she wasn't going to change the price. I told her we would think it over. She was quite rude and abrasive with us. And she was clearly well practised at being rude and abrasive.
We went back to the room. Though we were quite unhappy, it was late and we were tired. We decided that we would stay, but that we would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and likely with the credit card company as well. A few minutes later, as we were starting to settle in for the night, the clerk came back and knocked on our door. Was this an apology, I wondered? No. When I opened the door she told me she needed to know right now if we were going to stay or not. I told her the truth, that we were going to stay, but that we planned to lodge a complaint. When I said that, she said we had to get out immediately. She said she wasn't going to let us complain to our credit card company and risk loosing her getting full price for the room and that we needed to turn in the key and be out within 5 minutes.
We were happy to oblige. We drove a little way down the road and found a beautiful, comfortable room at a Hampton Inn for a few dollars less. The staff here is gracious and kind. Exactly what you would expect from someone in the hospitality industry.
