I have been a patient of Dr. Rubinstein's for over 20 years. I'm an old-school guy who doesn't go see the Dr. unless I need to. In the past few days I've experienced a serious (possibly life-threatening) situation. When my wife called today to make an appointment for me she was told that since I haven't been in for four years (I've been lucky) that it needs to be cleared by the Dr. before an appointment could be made.; WHAT? I haven't paid my dues in 4 years?? It's time for me to find a new doctor - one who cares at least bout his patients as he does about his country club membership and his Caribbean vacation!!! By the way - the last time I was in it was for a fragment of steel imbedded in my wrist and I was seen by one of his "associates".

He's a doctor who doesn't want to be a doctor. Seeing him for 8 months and every time I brought up an issue I was having or concerned about he always avoided my problem and changed the subject or said it was nothing. Calling him up and telling him his cocktail of pills he prescribed to me have gotten me sick and dysfunctional he replied keep taking them. I have never seen such a uncompassionate man! After finding another doctor and requesting my records I was met with resistance and plain out rudeness.
