I've been looking around different places in Watertown for martial arts lessons and though I'd give this place a try. The location is great and for the interior it looked very nice. That is where everything went downhill from here. The instruction is mediocre but what really brings the place down is the level of skill and knowledge of the head instructor. Craig. When I saw him demonstrate his form was all over the place and had little to no balance. Also, he seems to make up stuff on the fly and just doens't "look" like a head instructor should. He loves to talk alot about himself and his past of being a "ranger" but that doesn't show in his abilities. The equipment is nice and as mentioned the instructors as okay. not bad, not great but some actually better than the head Craig. This is one of the McDonald or Burger King Dojo's you read about on youtube. Ask Craig who promoted him to his "rank" and you will find out the person isn't even his style rather just paid money to get a high rank in Kempo. Sad when you have to buy your rank and deceive your students and hide your lack actual abilities and knowledge.With that said, I wish him the best of luck.
