Provided by YP.comDispatchers, Drivers & Owners are rude, thieves and Druggies. Dispatchers say one rate, the drivers charge a different, usually higher one. They take free Medicaid passengers with regular cash paying customers and make the cash customers ride out of their way while still charging them the full over priced rate. I have had 3 no shows in the last month and my cab has never, not even once, been on time or customer friendly. I will be filing a complaint at the BBB.
They say the rates are high because of insurance and maintenance. Yet you see the owner and his wife driving flashy brand new cars and SUVs. Spending tons of money.
I cant blame the drivers for trying to over charge the customers. They get ripped off by Mr. and Mrs. Yellow Cab every day. The drivers have to make up their loses somehow.
Now that I have my own car back I never have to suffer the intolerable Yellow Cab again. Good Luck to those that still have to suffer with this crap shot company.

Provided by YP.comI just LOVE how I call for a times pick up, and it's almost as though I didn't. When I call for a timed pick up that means I HAVE SOMEWHERE TO BE. I don't think it is ever okay as a business to waste a PAYING customer's time. Numerous times I call for a timed pick up because I have a doctor's appointment in a different city. My general rule is to call with enough ample time to travel and get to my appointment without being late. Tell me why 85 percent of the time I'M STILL LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENTS. If they cancel my appointment, which has been done twice, Yellow Cab of watertown doesn't offer me a discount on the wasted trip back, or the extra money I have to pay for the cab rides to and from the rescheduled appointments. God forbid I have an emergency... Oh wait, I was in LABOR and they were still late. I fricking hate yellow cab. The only good driver was Denny, they did something to him and the business has gone completely to hell, more so than it was before

Provided by YP.comUsed Yellow Cab twice on 12 December, both times we called the Driver showed up early. Drivers were courteous and professional and got us where we were going with no problem. Our 2nd trip was multi-stops all the way out to Evans Mills. Others may have experienced something less but ours was great.

Provided by YPmobileI've always dealt with yellow cab. I have never had a problem with them. All tho I have only a hand full of drivers I prefer to ride with and get to where I need to be safe. I wouldn't ask for any other cab company. :-)

Provided by YPmobileI'd rate this can zero stars if I could. Stood up on Haloween eve. Not even that, but a yellow cab driver pulled up where we were waiting and told us he wouldn't pick us up. Worst cab service I've ever had. They know they're the only ones in town and they take their sweet time. Deplorable.

Provided by YPmobileSet up to be picked up at my place and to go to work. On time for my place but after work I wait for over 2 hours just for no show. 12 bucks each way. Faster and cheaper to carpool with a coworker that lives in the same area and works at the same place. Can't wait for my other job. Can walk back home if I see there is a no show. Not explaining why I just leave. I wait and wait then decide to leave cause they say oh well be there shortly. Shortly my arse

Provided by YPmobileThis cab service is HORRIBLE. There customer service is very bad, they are rude. I've used this cab service twice and each time they were rude, both the dispatcher and the driver. This morning I was told that I would be charged extra for my stop b/c it was taking the driver out of his way even though my stop was headed towards my drop off place. I will NEVER use this cab service again! I would walk before I use them again.

Provided by YP.comJust used this cab company to take me to the front of Nash Gate total cost of a 5 mile ride 12 dollars. What they advertise is a 5 dollar fare to travel on Fort Drum which mine wasn't even to the base just to the gate. Yellow cab equals being ripped off. I will never use this company again and will advice soldiers to never use this company. Horrible service.

Provided by YP.comTHE PRICE INCREASES BECAUSE THE DRIVER WENT TO THE WRONG LOCATION, AND YOU’RE GOING TO PAY FOR IT SCAM
In June of 2006 I dropped my SUV off with my girlfriend’s father so they could store my vehicle while I was in Iraq. Our plan was for my girlfriend’s father to meet me just across the Canadian border at the ice cream shop to take the SUV and then have Yellow Cab take me back to Fort Drum.
Two weeks before the handover of my vehicle to my girlfriend’s father I called Yellow Cab to get a quote on home much it would cost. The dispatcher told me that it would cost me $45. I was satisfied with the amount so I planned for that amount.
A couple days before the handover I called Yellow Cab again to set up the ride back with the location I wanted to be picked up. The dispatcher now said the price was $55, because of the location (that didn’t change) of where I wanted to get picked up. I agreed with the price and went about getting ready for my upcoming deployment.
The day of the handover I call again to confirm everything was in order, at that point everything seemed to be running smooth until it was time for me to get my ride back to Fort Drum. The dispatcher told me the driver wouldn’t drive into Canada for anything less than $65. At that point I had about enough but it was too late for me to arrange a different cab company in a short amount of time considering it was already later in the evening and my girlfriend’s father wanted to get going as soon as possible. So I reluctantly agreed and began to wait for my ride from Yellow Cab.
After about an hour of waiting I called the dispatch and asked for the location of the driver that was supposed to pick me up. The dispatcher told me he was heading over the bridge as we were speaking. I reminded him I was directly under the sign that said TAX FREE ICE CREAM. The weather was beautiful so we did not need to move from that location at all.
Forty Five minutes went and I called the dispatcher again for the location. The dispatcher told me the driver was heading back because I was a no show. I told the dispatcher I have not move from my location for the past two hours and I did not see the cab at all. I head over the phone the conversation the dispatcher had with the driver. The driver was very upset and said he would not come back unless I paid 20 more dollars. Once the dispatcher got back on the phone I asked him why I had to pay more because they messed up on the location of where I wanted to get picked up. I also asked them why they didn’t call me to find out where I was. The dispatcher told me I had to bring it up with the driver.
At this time my girlfriend’s father was offering to pay for the whole ride because I wanted to get a different cab to pick me up. I did not want him to pay so I accepted the new payment of $85.
Once the driver showed up he was trying to justify why it was my fault that he did not find my location. (I guess telling him I’m under a huge sign that said TAX FREE ICECREAM is hard to find)
Once I got back to the barracks I told the driver that I did agree to pay the $85 but if he took the extra $20 I would make sure everyone knows how Yellow Cab takes advantage of Soldiers. The driver then called me a few choice words and then told me he was calling the MPs. I paid him the full $85 because I did agree to that I do realize that was a big mistake.
I failed every Soldier that fell for one of Yellow Cabs scams between 2006 and now. After that deployment I kind of let it go. I was still upset but I brushed it off my shoulder. That was until I heard Yellow Cab was at it again. One of my Soldiers fell for the double charge scam.
We can’t let every company around post treat us like we’re constantly in debt to them because we moved into their neighborhood. All we want is for us to be treated like customers, neighbors and humans.
