Just built a house and Dave did the HVAC. Put in a separate room with a door for the toilet in the bathroom yet for some reason no heat vent was run to the room and half the wall above the toilet is a window. When I asked why not, was told there would be an additional charge. So I said OK. Waited for over a month and no show so I just did it myself.



Higher end home so one might expect a programmable thermostat. Wired myself and screwed it up by connecting one wire I shouldn't have so I blew a 5 amp fuse in the furnace. I found a half used tube of caulk inside the furnace while looking for the fuse. I called Dave and told him what had happened. Says he is not a believer in programmable thermostats. So he replaced the fuse and put the old thermostat back on and sent me a bill for $75. Geez.



Finally I installed the programmable thermostat, correctly took his back and paid the bill. Stay away.
