Located in Waterville, Maine, KVCAP Day Care & Head Start is a part of KVCAP, which is a nonprofit community action program that has been providing services to the people of Kennebec and Somerset counties in Maine for more than 40 years. KVCAP offers a range of services for men, women and children, such as family planning, home ownership, repair and weatherization services. It provides heating assistance and transportation services, as well as operates a teen center. The program also supports families through home visitation programs for first time parents, as well as conducts parenting classes. KVCAP offers transportation services to local citizens through general public bus program and door-to-door paratransit van and volunteer driver transportation program.
