Ah, Jinyuan's! One of my favorite restaurants in the greater Waterville area, and the best Chinese north of Bostons China town!

The food is always fresh and prepared with good ingredients. I've sat at a table and watched staff arrive from the farmer's market with a bag of string beans and clean and pull the strings. The head chef 'Shawn' is an owner and is very particular about food quality. Many of the dishes are authentic cuisine and can be prepared in many different styles such as Hunan, SKung Po, Yu Hsiang, and Curry. This is the place to try new things and expand your Asian pallet! I've come to love Yu Hsiang style here (ask for it spicy) and many of the veggie meat dishes like Chow Mein or Curry Chicken that are beyond the basic fried apps that some stick to.

Prices are very reasonable, and service is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, and will take good care of you.

the Atmosphere is basic, clean and neat, no frill. Perhaps not the ideal place for a romantic date or anniversary dinner, but a great location for every day dining.

I would strongly recommend trying JinYuans if you've not found this gem yet. Try something new for you here, you may find a new favorite!
