The food was very over sauces. The drinks were over priced ($15 for a mixed drink). The crowd was very loud. I love hibachi grills but this was not very good at all.

Mirakuya's is an interesting place. It's very good sushi, better than most places that get more accolades such as Kobe in Bangor. Fresh food made in front of you at the bar or Hibachi.

Pros: Free entertainment! Watch the chef create your meal (and a few fire balls!) at the Hibachi. They will attempt to squirt sake in your mouth (careful if you're still on the clock!) The food is very fresh, and high quality. It's a great fun night out with friends or a group of people. 5 stars for a very fun Atmosphere.

Cons: Not particularly a romantic spot for a couple, it's louder and fairly crowded. (and some people are too reserved for food and sake delivered though the air by a chef!) It's pricey. I spent $85 for me and my wife (we had 2 drinks , Hibachi) the portions are not large, if you're a big eater like us, get some sides, I suggest the chicken tempura roll.

Overall, Mirakuya's is great for special occasions and it's hard not to have fun at the hibachi with friends cheering you on to catch food in your mouth the chef flings at you!
