This is an independent Napa store, that doesn't participate in the nation wide franchises ads. They have a price mark-up around $12-$20 above the Napa stores in Dickinson and Williston. The only other parts store in town is Carquest. I would be pleased if Watford City had an Orielly's or an Advance Auto Parts, but they don't. This Napa store is old, dusty and the ceiling tiles are water stained and falling down. There are no prices on the items in the store on the shelves, so when you get to the counter after waiting ten minutes in line, they make up whatever price they want. The owner is the bald guy with glasses, who sits behind the counter and tries to look busy but really is just keeping an eye on the financial transactions. The female clerk is very helpful in looking for the correct part in the computer and paper book databases. There are two younger male clerks, who act tough and macho especially if you are a new face in town, who are also usually rude. This store also has high end lawn mowers for sale across the street, which I don't understand because either no one has a yard big enough to mow with these big machines or has green grass in this rocky region.
