Love this place! The staff is amazing. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is awesome. Not a place you would expect to find in the Bakken! Highly recommend!!!

Made online reservation, got email confirmation. Drove 10 hours, upon check in was informed that the online system doesn't work and that they had no proof of our reservation and that they were booked for the night. They offered us half price for a hotel room the following night. Kind of them however it didn't solve my immediate problem of not having a place to stay that night. I will not refer and will not go back to this hotel based on this experience.

We've stayed at this hotel before and had a pretty good experience there, but the last couple of stays were decidedly unpleasant...



The first night on this last trip we stayed in the older section of the hotel. We were greeted by an unpleasant smell in the room which is smaller and much darker feeling than the new section rooms we'd stayed in previously. Along with the smell, the room was small and had a decidedly old and used feel to it. When we tried to go to sleep we were kept awake by other guests most of the evening. When the other guests finally quieted down we were then kept awake by the excessively loud heater under the window.



For the second night, we decided to upgrade to a room in the new section that we'd enjoyed on our last trip. This room was better, but unfortunately we were still kept awake by the loud heater most of the night. In addition, we were surprised by an extra charge on our credit card the next week for $150. When we inquired, they said they had "caught us sneaking our dog into the room". Apparently we missed the pet policy information as we've never had an issue with this before, and instead of simply letting us know that we needed to pay $25 for a pet friendly room they decided to just charge us for violating the policy instead.



I understand that there are these policies for a reason, and I'm more than happy to comply with them. In this particular case an honest mistake was answered by being gouged for what would amount to a full night's stay instead. In my opinion this speaks to poor management and a lack of customer service. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

best place to stay in Watford city breakfast is nice they switch up bacon one day and sausage one sometimes they have both people are very helpful will stay there every time we pass through Watford.
