When I started my plumbing career in 1990, I did not think I would still be in the plumbing trade 26 years later. I started plumbing to have a job while I was attending Dekalb College. After two years I found that college was not for me. The housing market was booming around Atlanta and I had grown to enjoy the plumbing trade. I was very fortunate to have several plumbers at the company who were great teachers. They also took a lot of pride in their work which rubbed off on me. In 1992 I married my high school sweetheart and we are still together today. I moved on to bigger and better things in 1993. I worked with Gwinnett County to install major sewer drains and water mainlines for future subdivisions. In 1997 we found ourselves in Fort Lauderdale, Florida working on high rise hotels and becoming a well rounded service plumber. After becoming homesick 1999, we moved back to Snellville where I started school at the Georgia Plumbers' Trade School in Hapeville, GA. I earned my Georgia State Masters License in 2001 and I have been in good standing with the state ever since. I have worked with several service companies since then and there was a lot of things I wish I could have changed with them. So my wife and I set out to do just that. When we opened Alpha Plumbing we wanted to offer our customers a better quality plumbing service with outstanding customer service. No exceptions! From wearing shoe covers and covering floors for protection, to being polite and courteous and listening to our customers needs, we were going to stand out from all the other companies. We wanted to go above and beyond your expectations and we have reached that goal. We also wanted to offer our customers a better price on their repairs. A lot of plumbing companies pay their plumbers on a commission pay scale. This is part of the reason they charge so much. The more the plumber can charge you, the bigger their paycheck is. Plus, they have serious overhead they need to pay for. Not here. I keep my overhead low and pass the savings on to my customers. I want you to be our customer for a lifetime. Being a plumber, I feel I have a obligation to provide a service that helps you monitor the safety of your plumbing system. It is my responsibility to do my part in providing you with the safest drinking water I can for you and your children. We cannot forget our furry friends. They get thirsty too! Now we need to deal with the not so clean water. This is serious business. Sewage water can make your family very sick and this is not what we want. Sewage water is also harder to clean up and treat than regular water leaks. We will make sure this is getting disposed of properly. And then there is the one thing that makes everyone nervous, the gas system. Please do not play around with gas leaks. Big or small. We want to keep you and your family safe and protect your biggest investment. In 2014, I was chosen to be the master plumber onsite for the television show "Elbow Room" with Chip Wade on HGTV. IN 2015, I was chosen to be the plumber onsite for the television show "Home Free" with Mike Holmes on FOX. Working with these guys really fine tuned our plumbing abilities. We were able to work with all kinds of different plumbing products. High end product, tankless water heaters, new products to the market and different design layouts for kitchens and bathrooms. They do not pick just anyone to do these shows. I am not bragging. O.k., maybe a little bit, but it was quite the experience. We would love to be your plumbing company. I feel certain we can offer you the best pricing, customer service and options you deserve. You deserve to have a plumber that will respect you, your family and your investment. My wife and I strive to keep making our company better and better everyday. We look forward to working with you. Scott Peck- owner at Alpha Plumbing.
