Provided by YP.comThe Herald-Advocate has been and continues to be the premiere source for real Hardee County news. Anyone running for local office runs ads in it, knowing that everyone who matters in small-town Florida reads this paper. In addition, its editorial staff have won numerous awards from the FPA and other organizations for their objective and thorough coverage of events within the community. If you want your business to thrive in Hardee County, you better advertise with The Herald-Advocate. Call it a monopoly if you will, but this paper does the job and then some. Their methods may be a bit old-fashioned, but then, life in rural Florida moves at a slower pace anyway. As time marches on, I predict that this paper will become more tech-savvy.

Provided by YP.comI think it's dumb that this newspaper will only accept cash, check, or money order for classified advertising. Someone out of the area wishing toplace an immediate ad had to mail payment, and it delays insertion date.
C'mon! Get with the times, and accept credit card payments!
