After much consideration, I sent both of my kids to Da Vinci Waldorf School. I have one child in Early Childhood and one in 2nd grade.

What I love most about Da Vinci is that kids learn by doing rather than by rote memorization. When they learn their multiplication tables, they actually walk the paces as they learn them so it's ingrained in their bodies. Every time my son sees or learns something new, he also tries to then build that thing.

For example, when Fidget Spinners were all the rage, instead of buying one, he built one. Also, after learning to read, he starting writing a binding (with a hole punch and string) his own little books.

The faculty at the school is so caring. Every day my son and daughter share their teacher's hand coming in and leaving. It's like a family.
