They are never open. It says on the door that they are open til 5pm daily, however, are never open past noon??? I don't know actually. I've never seen it open to tell the truth. It also says on the door that there are no appointments necessary, but they close immediately after their last appointment. So, how exactly does one get service at Pets and Things? the answer is you don't you go to Groomingdales, where they are open to walk-ins whenever.

Love this place. It's right down town, so an easy walk for me and my pups; they do nails and teeth without an appointment and for almost nothing; and when I have them bathe the dogs, they do a thorough job -- once they brushed my long-haired for three hours before I told them that was good enough! Almost every time I take the male for a bath, I get people stopping me on the street on the way home to say how beautiful he is.

I love Pets and Things. I've been taking my dogs there for years. My dogs always look and smell great when I pick them up. If the groomer notices the slightest change in a dog while they're there, maybe lathargic, maybe a lump not there previously, they'll always mention it. Even if I already know about it, I love that they care enough to notice and mention it as well. I will continue to go to Pets and Things and will also continue to refer my friends there.
