If you like to hear the owner of the shop Kate argue with her neighbor about placing a bulb in the washroom and why he touched her stuff then this is the place to go. I should've known not to go to a place this disorganized and disfuctional. When I called twice, no answer and no return call. When I texted,she texted me back a day later and all her messages were unclear as for her language. When I got to the shop she was 20 mins late. Ten minutes in the door she began arguing with the guy across the hall about taking a $1 light bulb out of the bathroom. ( As much as she's over pricing her clients she should've been able to purchase one herself). They began to argue for 30 mins while I'm seating there applaud of her behavior. She stated " Don't touch my stuff, I will give my customers flash lights to use the bathroom". First of all, I am a women not a man, I don't know about you ladies but that don't cut it for me. She didn't turn the heat up when I told her its cold. She doesn't treat her customers right at all. She threw the bulb at the wall continuously arguing with the man that was actually caring more about her clients then she seemed to care. I am a paying customer,I shouldn't have to see such unprofessionalism,disrespect and chaotic behavior but unfortunately I did. When I should've left But didn't because I desperately needed my hair done. (Big mistake for me) she didn't do my hair the way I wanted. I strongly dislike this shop and I will never refer no one to this shop. Or you too will be highly upset and disappointed.

Kate is the best hair braider I have ever seen. She knows how to make your girls kids look like princes. My three year little girl she always enjoy when Kate does her hair she never cried or complain. I like the way she set my weaves and that makes everybody admire her quality work.

I love her. Im so tenderheaded and a crybaby when it comes to getting my hair done. Kate actually takes her time and my hair has really grown since she's been doin. It. I am very tender headed and she took her time to do my braids. Not only did I not feel pain. It was incredibly neat and exactly what I wanted. Immediately after she finished my hair I had so many compliments. I'm so happy I don't have to go to Chicago anymore for less than stellar service! Kate's great!!!
