Very Professional & Great Service!

They gave me the choice of fixing my 17 year old furnace or replacing it. Got 3 quotes and one was higher and one was lower. The lower one was from a gentleman who worked out of his home and I wasn't comfortable that he would be in business for 10 years to honor the warranty. Robinson advertises they have been in business for 50+ years so I went with them. I couldn't be happier that I did. From the service man to the sales estimator to the installer they were all fantastic. The OWNER of the company actually came by at the end of the job to make sure everything was done properly. What company has an owner who DOES that anymore?! The office person even registered my Carrier furnace for me to ensure my warranty was in place. A+++ company.

I think they overquoted us. Our furnace went out on a Saturday when it was 10 degrees. They were able to get someone to our house within an hour, but we were told the induced draft assembly was bad and had taken out the circuit board. He didn't have the necessary circuit board and would have to order it.



We also had a home warranty, so I called the warranty company Monday to get authorization for the work. His quote to the warranty company was over $1,000, so they sent another company out to give a second opinion. When the second company checked it out, the furnace started up and is still running. The tech from the second company went outside and found the exhaust flue was almost completely blocked by ice buildup. It is now Friday, and the furnace has been working fine since it started Monday.



Admittedly, the furnace was not firing on Saturday evening, and electrical faults can be intermittent. Maybe I just got lucky and the board decided to work again. However, I can't help but think that if the Robinson tech had bothered (or known) to check for exhaust blockage, it could have been fixed that night.
