Metropolitan Builders Association ( MBA ) is a not-for-profit trade association that represents over 1, 200 companies involved in the construction, development, and remodeling of single and multifamily housing and light commercial property in Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, Jefferson, and Milwaukee Counties. Collectively, our members employ tens of thousands of workers in the metro-Milwaukee area and do over $800 million worth of business each year. With such a large number of high-paying jobs, the housing industry is a crucial element to the area's continued economic health. The Wisconsin Builders Association ( WBA ) is a not-for-profit trade association that represents the interest of the MBA and other local home building associations in the State Legislature. As a result, the WBA speaks for more than 6, 200 companies involved in the construction, development, and remodeling of single and multifamily housing and their 160, 000 workers. The National Association of Home Builders ( NAHB ) is a not-for-profit trade association whose primary goal is to keep housing as a top national priority. NAHB is comprised of over 190, 000 members, who together employ over eight million Americans. NAHB actively promotes policies that help provide and expand opportunities for all Americans to have safe, decent, and affordable housing. In addition, NAHB works hard to enact pro-housing legislation and pursue regulatory and judicial changes that have a positive impact on the nation's building industry.
