Cuco's in Verona one word---TASTY!. The place has been opened for one week and the parking lot was packed. We sat at the bar on Saturday night. Got quick service and food but it was early when we went. The bartenders are fast and working out the kinks.

Every new bar and restaurant will have its trails and errors for the first couple weeks.

It is run by a professional management and it shows in the seasoned waitstaff.

The bartenders were friendly and could actually hold a conversation. Knowledgeable in the history of the owners.

The chips and salsa were served immediately. I think the salsa will need a few tweaks.

We ordered a pitcher on the rocks half/half strawberry/lime. About 4 margs between two people. Decent flavor-measured pour for the tequila, should have asked for a shot more.

We ordered the tamales, beef/chicken quesadillas a la carte. No sides---

Excellent shredded chicken and beef.

The tamales were a bit on the masa, but it was fresh.

We were stuffed and happy.

Loved how one waiter put 5 dinner plate on one arm. Now that is a feat and have never seen anyone do that. It is a site to see.

Will go back and bring more family and friends to this great Mexican restaurant.
