I have been going to Minnewaska Motors for years and I have always found Dennis to be very friendly, helpful, reasonable and honest. If a part has ever failed within warranty (not all parts are perfect), he has always made it right. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Avoid Dennis, the proprietor, at all cost. I bought a vehicle from him and he was dishonest about work & parts he said was done. Had a $1,300 repair bill a month into it for failed parts he put in. Took him to court - where he knew everyone, and vice versa (small town). Due to the state warranty, the judge sided with him. I disagreed due to his verbal statements at the time of sale - I bought based on the work he said was done. Problem was wrong fitting, cheap after market parts. As I said failed weeks into owner ship. But the biggest reason I'd say avoid (as if misprepresentation wasn't enough), was his over the top rude demeanor. He's nice till you start asking questions or have a problem, then he's your worst nightmare. He even lied under oath. My advice, stick to a reputable dealership and avoid his type of used car shop entirely.
