Appointment at 10:00 for a mammogram and I haven't even been seen by a clerk to be checked in at 10:50! Might as well go to the VA!!

Baylor hospital in Waxahachie

I have had the WORST EXPERIENCES THERE! 2 times, one right after the other I had my catheter ripped from me! I am a survivor of a bad past. I have major scar tissue from a bladder sling, I have a major scared kidney from the numerous UTI'S & kidney infections, as well as a cyst on my ovary. I simply ask for a minor small pain killer to keep from feeling the scar tissue in that area. The put a numbing agent there, I told them I could still feel all movement. (The nurses and doctors) they said we will see how it goes just a little further up:.. Needless to say I started crying, begging them to stop pulling please. On both visits to the ER, (both for the same reason to fix my foley) the nurses ripped my catheter out and I was screaming and crying at the same time! My husband asked to speak to the dr. Dr. J. Sumrall was the dr at that time dealing with me. He felt that I did not need any help. He also felt no need to give any pain meds to help when putting in a new foley. So when the nurse Chely came back in, she proceeded and literally SHOVED the catheter in and I SCREAMED CRYING SO LOUD, other nurses came in to look. Then Dr. J Sumrall did not treat my yeast infection, bacterial infection, nor did he give anything for pain! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL OR ER TO ANYBODY! THEY DO NOT CARE!

Beware of Baylor bills!

I was treated at Baylor Medical Center of Irving in an emergency.I made an initial payment to Baylor immediately.

My insurance company made a complete payment for the treatment after that.Hence, I am still waiting to claim the additional initial payment from Baylor till date.

Every time I call Baylor a representative simply keeps on giving me incorrect information. First they say a credit has already been made to the debit card ,then they say a check has been mailed out and then simply ask to wait for a couple of days. After a couple of days they say they don't know when the check actually left the building. This is ridiculous!!!

I must say that the representatives answering the phone were very indifferent to my concern. I felt insulted!

However, they were very prompt at sending out bills to my mailbox. Even if it was a weekend, they used to send out a bill. Their bills are never-ending. But when it comes to refunding an over payment, god knows if they ever return them. I am still waiting.
