One of the best priced places in Waxahachie if you have a family. All 4 of us eat here for $20-$25 every week and we leave stuffed. For that, we have a large Pizza (which is really large), garlic cheese bread, chips, sauce, and bread. Varies between $20-25 depending on how many drinks we get. Food is outstanding, have never encountered rude service, and have never left without being satisfied and full. 5 stars and I'm kind of picky LOL

NEW REVIEW!! Poor service, rude employees, No one was in the dining room, I was the only customer, lunch was going to be $15.00 with tip and didn't want to eat that much or spend that much for a quick lunch. Nicely told the waitress I decided to go somewhere else and as I was walking out the door I heard the waitress say to the manager "too cheap" and someone was yelling go to Little Caesars Or Taco Bell or something like that. Guess I will from now on. NOT going to get another dime from this family!!! Another failing restaurant and a case for Kitchen Nightmare!!

A Hidden Jewel

This little place, remodeled from an old gas station, is truly a hidden jewel, and has something for the whole family at very, very reasonable cost.

Both the Mexican and Italian dishes are well-done; you'll have a hard time choosing what to eat -- the selections are amazing -- starting with deciding between bread and chips -- but you can have both!

My husband and I eat here regularly, and have never been disappointed. He is a west Texan, and I grew up with Italians, so two great dishes we gravitate to here are the stromboli, and the "Grande Stuffed Burrito." If you manage to finish either one, you will crawl out on your knees and die a happy death (we take leftovers home and they reheat beautifully).

The hot sauce with the chips is excellent -- varies a little in amount of heat, but that's part of the fun when you go regularly.

I took four out of town friends here last week, and one of the kids wanted pizza. A portion of the kitchen is in full view, so we could see the making of the pizza, including the dough-tossing. Everyone was very happy with their choices, and they were amazed at how low the cost was.

There is seldom any waiting, even on a Friday night (when we usually go) and service is friendly and prompt.

If you're tired of the crowded "Gemerica" ("Generic America") restaurants like Chili's and Applebee's, formulaic cooking, and wondering why you paid $40 for a family of four to eat out for nothing special, check this place out.

The only reason I don't give it an "exceptional" rating is that the only thing missing is the ability to have a cold brew with your burrito or stromboli here...but you can go on to the College St. Pub for that, or back home. Bon appetite!
