Waxahachie High School is part of the Waxahachie Independent School District, which is composed of more than 10 elementary and secondary schools. Located in Waxahachie, Texas, the high school offers students from grade nine through 12, preadvanced and advanced placement classes in more than 15 subject areas. Subjects offered include Spanish, French, German, multimedia and computer science, English literature and composition, physics, biology, calculus, chemistry, history and economics. Waxahachie High School offers a special education program with diagnostic services for students with special needs. The school s athletic program includes baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, track, softball, and volleyball. It has more than 20 clubs and organizations that include Spanish club, National Honor Society, university interscholastic league, drama club, and band and choir. Waxahachie High School has a computerized library with an online database that offers research and teaching research.
