Waxhaw Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. Its staff includes classroom and resource teachers, teaching assistants, specialists, counselors, social workers, and office and support personnel. The school offers a variety of extracurricular programs in art, music and physical education. In addition, Waxhaw Elementary School conducts foreign language sessions in Spanish and offers the English as a Second Language program. It provides medical care; occupational and speech therapies; and guidance and counseling services to students. The school also provides several after-school programs in arts and crafts and enrichment activities.
