Bethesda recovery home style recovery center the ministry is located in a beautiful victorian style home near the downtown area of Waycross. Georgia. The southern comfort of "porch living" is evident in the architecture of the house. Sunday afternoons are often times of sharing with families of residential clients on the HUGE front porch. Each bedroom has TWO twin Beds and enough draw space and closet space to hold the residential clients' personal belongs for ninety days. NO more than SIX clients reside in the facility AT ONE time. However the women interact with the members of Bethesda fellowship. The church the clients attend. The real life recovery offers interaction with others through the work that is done in the recovery facility. The recovery program includes the clients assisting with the food bank. Food preparation for the three meals that AT served to church members and the community AS well AS assisting with the clothing ministry and the gift SHOP. RECREATION includes trips shopping. Movies on the weekend. Fellowships AT church and other scheduled events. The program includes classes each DAY for the residents. The DAY starts AT 7 A. M. With a Continental breakfast followed by a 45 minute walking program. After walking the residents will enjoy devotions. 12 gates groups; anger management. Bible STUDY;
SELF-ESTEEM classes; inner healing groups and education on specific recovery needs. The Kitchen is open for USE by the clients from 7:00 A. M. Until 9 P. M. Meals are provided except with a special diet is required. Clients MAY enhance their cooking skills or learn NEW skills during the program.
