Camp Androscoggin has been owned and operated by the Hirsch family since 1964, and is located in Wayne, Maine. It provides skills and to gain self-confidence by mastering the challenges of camp life. The camp provides various activities for campers, including baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, riflery, volleyball, golf, ropes courses and climbing walls. It additionally provides camp craft, woodworking, ceramics, animation, video production, photography, dramatics, radio broadcasting, music, wakeboarding, knee boarding, sailing, windsurfing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking and fishing. The campers live in one area of the camp in cabins that are arranged in a semicircle overlooking Lake Androscoggin. Androscoggin offers various programs of hiking, biking and canoeing trips to build camping skills.
