The Wayne Police Department provides law enforcement and crime prevention services. The department s records division processes and manages criminal records, clearance reports, and search and arrest warrants. It also offers the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program. In addition, the Wayne Police Department organizes several safety-related training sessions for the general public. Headquartered in Wayne, N.J., the department employs more than 100 sworn officers.
