Provided by YP.comSad to say this once proud shelter is a shadow of it's former days. People like Linda Ruehs and her animal loving companions are long gone. Instead there now exists a bunch of shallow, self-centered, "Me First," social climbers that are in it for politics and shear ego. My sister and I, along with my cousin (and many volunteers from the old days) believe it began with Linda Nardone back in the late '90s. By the way, Nardone used to help conduct experiments and animals; "lab-rat" sort of stuff. Utterly disgusting. But the real tragedy, and it pertains to the "new-and-not-so-improved" Wayne Shelter is the cats and dogs that are victims of human egos fueled by money and social status.
