Recently joined the Waynesboro YMCA. I found the staff, friendly, knowledgeable and truly interested in my fitness needs. Just had my wellness center orientation. It took nearly 2.5 hours and it was so worth it. My trainer demonstrated every machine then watched as I did, correcting and directing to insure I was doing each exercise correctly and safely. She set up a record for me so that I could pull it on each visit with all my setting, weights, and reps. I put off joining for years because I have never been a member of and fitness group and felt very intimidated by all the equipment but my trainer gave me the information that spurred my confidence. I am on my way to a better version on me thanks to the YMCA!

I wanted to rent to pool for for a special event. I filled out the rental form. Turned it in . Heard nothing from them. I email them a week later and did get an answer, the date i wanted was booked. Picked another and emailed again and again and again. No answer, Gave up and made other plans. They want your donation but don't want to "work" for money. Don"t waste your time here.
