Wayzata West Middle School is a part of the Wayzata Public Schools that comprises elementary, middle and high schools. It provides educational classes to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes family and consumer science, general music, language arts, math, earth science, physical education, world geography and technology. It also provides world language classes in Spanish, French and German. The school provides various academic activities to students, including future problem solving, math masters, young scientist roundtable and destination imagination. It offers a wide range of athletic activities that include cross country, swimming, basketball, wrestling, tennis, baseball, softball, and track and field.
