The people of North Side Baptist Church give me reason to sing the chorus, "I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God" with honest enthusiasm. The special relationship that is ours as a fellowship of believers makes this much more than a chorus. It becomes a statement filled with emotion, memories, and a sense of belonging and significance. North Side Baptist Church of Weatherford is not a place we attend, it is a family to which we belong. Members of this family pray with us when we face difficult times or illness, rejoice with us when we are blessed, share with us in ministry and challenge us when our lives need change. That's what families do.
