Our family is still upset and even traumatized by the way Dr Pat Jarrett ended our dogs life.
We were very prepared for her death since she'd been ill for years.
But he did not give her the shot to make her go to sleep first, which is common practice. While we waited a long time our dog was scared to death and shaking, the nurses snuck in and gave her the correct shot but it hadn't had time to take effect before Dr Pat Jarrett came in and took her off. We told him but she's so awake and aware and scared, he said " it's as good it gets," and left the room with her. She died in trauma and fright at his hands. We will never get over his "all business" approach and lack of compassion for our dog or us.

As a new puppy owner with a sick puppy, I was that person that was googling everything. The first time I went to Dr. Jarrett, I knew that our 2.5 pound puppy was very sick. Right when I walked in, the secretary walked out from behind the desk and asked if she could hold him, and then she held him while I filled out the paper work. When Dr. Jarrett came in. he sat and listened to me ask question after question, looked at all the paper work I had from the breeder, and then he calmed me down and started to tell me what was wrong with him and how we would go about fixing it. He helped and played with our puppy the whole time he was talking and telling me the game plan. My husband wasn’t with me, so I was sitting there crying by myself, but Dr. Jarrett did a wonderful job of telling me the truth but also that it would be ok. When I got ready to leave, the vet tech and staff played with our puppy while I kept asking questions. One thing that really meant a lot to me is that, as I was leaving, Dr. Jarrett came back out and told me that communication between the two of us was the key and "any question. at any time, call and ask!" We had to bring our puppy in almost every other week for about a month, and in that time, the staff answered all my questions every time I would call.

The next time I came in, the staff did the same thing and came right back out to hold and play with him. Dr. Jarrett answered all my crazy and ongoing questions. He even called after the office was closed to tell me that he thought of something else we should do and how to change it up.

We have had a long road to get our little guy well, and the staff and Dr. Jarrett have been beyond wonderful and helpful and answered every silly question I have. I drive 45 min to take our puppy to Dr. Jarrett, and I would do it any day of the week! I am so thankful and happy that I found a wonderful vet and staff to help get our puppy back to 100%. I always know that when I go and see them that they are going to love on our little guy, answer any questions I have, and even hand me a tissue when I start to cry. They always give me more information then what I came in with, and I would recommend Dr. Jarrett to everybody, any and every day of the week!

We highly recommend Dr Jarrett...

We highly recommend Dr Jarrett and his staff for all of our Vet needs. The Doc is caring and knowledgable. He has been available 24/7 for us and our pets. He does not hesitatate to recommend us for a second opinion if we feel the need for one. His staff takes on a personal role with our pets. In fact, we have named our latest pet after one of the techs.
