I own 2 pied piper traps and they both work exceptionally well....I have caught 17 squirrels in the last 3 weekends with the squirrel size trap...the design is perfect....I read the review by Mike and it does not seem he is setting the trap correctly....if you put the food/bait on the ground and then set trap on the food above the trigger plate it works every time....you may want to try birdseed as a good/bait

I bought their squirrel trap. My squirrels love it because they use it for a feeder! I know it is set right because i can put my hand in and trip it, but the squirrels are smarter I guess than the trap design is. The first time, the squirrel took a half ear of corn off of the trigger without setting it off. The second and third times, peanut butter bread and peanuts were his catch of the day. This trap is a total waste if you plan to trap anything besides your hand.
