For twenty years, Mr. Rogers has represented small businesses and landowners in almost every facet of their operations. He began his legal career representing borrowers in workouts and federal lawsuits filed by the FDIC and RTC at the height of the savings and loan crises in the early 90s. After earning his board certification in labor and employment law and becoming a director in his former firm, he guided its employment law practice in three states, defending companies and representing executives in the onslaught discrimination complaints that followed the implementation of the Civil Rights Act of 1991. In 2002, Mr. Rogers founded his current firm in Weatherford, Texas where he actively represents clients in all areas of corporate formation, ownership agreements, real estate matters, labor and employment issues, vendor and customer relationships, acquisitions and dissolutions as well as in related litigation. He also guides individual landowners and joint ventures in real estate acquisition and development efforts, including purchase and sale agreements, mineral leasing, eminent domain proceedings, and in disputes associated with real estate matters.
