one star, because I have to, just to write a review.
HUGE RIP-OFF, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, BROUGHT THE RV TO THEM, REFRIGERATOR NOT GETTING COLD WHEN RUNNING ON ELECTRIC POWER, BUT COLD ON PROPANE.
THEY TOLD ME TO BRING THE RV, WE DID, THE HAD IT FOR 10 DAYS, TOLD ME THEY REPAIRED THE FRIGE, NOTHING WAS PLUGGED IN, SO IT WASN'T COLD, BUT THEY ASSURED ME ALL WAS GOOD. WE PAID THEM OVER $300.00. THE BILL SHOWED $200.00 LABOR, $110.00 FOR A USED P.C. BOARD. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT OUR LOCATION, WE SET UP, AND LEVELED THE RV. PLUGGED IN, NOTHING ON THE FRIGE WORED THEN. NOTHING. CALLED THEM THEY SAID, BRING IT BACK. I ASKED WHY I PAID FOR A USED P.C. BOARD, $110.00, WHEN NEW WAS $93.00, AND WHY IT WAS HELD IN WOBBLING WITH ONE SCREW. THEY GOT VERY BELIGERANT. FRIGE STILL DOESN'T WORK

I would NOT recommend having any work done at the RV WORLD. I dropped a trailer off to have the bearings packed and deals replaced, at the time I dropped it off they told me it would take 5-6 days (no problem). They called the next day and said the job was complete and ready for pick-up. Upon my arrival, I walked around my trailer and the wheels had not even been removed. I told the man I was not paying because they had not completed the task, which I had dropped the trailer off for. So, they charged me $55.00 to inject grease into the grease serts,
(located on the outside of the wheel, under the rubber cap). Dishonest and would not recommend.

We found a stray bent bolt in the bed of our pick-up when we arrived a the KOA adjacent to RV World in Weatherford, TX. The guys determined (at no charge) that it came from our 5th wheel hitch. That was serious- three techs and their boss took the hitch apart, found where the bent bolt came from and replaced the bolt - all while I waited. They even moved our 5th wheel trailer twice with a forklift so we could clear trees to open slideouts and position our rooftop DISH so we would not have to close it up & hook up to the truck to move 6 feet. All for a very nominal fee of $55. They were friendly and efficient. The bolt was an important part of the hitch- we can thank RV World for keeping us safe.

I cannot recommend this place. They did not listen to what was wrong with our trailer and instead of doing a $50 job, it cost me $500 and they did not fix the original problem. I had to go back and figure it out myself. The owner was rude to my wife and never listened to her when she was describing the problem. He did not write out a formal work order (as required by Texas State Law) and did not get us an estimate of the work we wanted done. When we called them to find out the status of the trailer he was rude and said to us that ever time we called, we stopped the work and did we want to pick up the trailer? I would never use this place again. They are a bunch of backwoods mechanics that are not following state law. I will report them next. Beyond that they don't fix what you want and fix what was not necessary and overcharge you. NEVER take your trailer there.

I would not buy another thing from this business ever again. My son bought a RV fan motor. Brought it home and it was the wrong motor. My son took the cover off to see if he could make it work and put it back together properly. The man told my husband when it was put back together he would take it back, but my son was hot, so they bought another motor, before taking the other one back, taking in good faith, that he would give the money back. So, they purchased two motors. When he figured out we had already bought another one, he refused to take the first one back, when he had already agreed to take it back. He made an excuse saying the bearings were squealing, which my son and husband will both testify as untrue.

Work was on a Winegard antenna. Service was great. Problem found in minimum time and fixed. Price was as expected!!

I would highly recommend RV World! I have a living quarter horse trailer and a fifth wheel. Richard has always done good work at a fair price.

I have been dealing with Richard for YEARS, never had a problem with his service and he always treats you right. Great man to deal with.

Good people and honest. You may can get work done cheaper elsewhere, but it won't be any better. Plus, they stand behind their work and their products. Honesty, integrity and knowledge all in one package.

they have worked on my 5th wheel several times, twice I had a problem with the work but each time it was taken care of by rv world. I would recommend this business. Richard is honest and will stand by his work. They will continue to get my business.
