I brought my husbands PTSD service dog to Mountain Energy Laundrymat tonight on July 28, 2017 as I do any other time that I use their service. Tonight as I went to walk in the door behind my husband with his service dog a lady that had been very kind to us before and allowed our dog in the laundrymat, and she even pet my dog before, stopped me and told me that I couldn't bring our dog inside, that no dogs were allowed. It frustrated me, and I tried to explain that we could show her the papers to the dog that she was serviced and that she goes everywhere we go but she just wanted to argue with us. Five minutes later another man employee brought poster signs and stuck them on the door that said "No Dogs Allowed". As I walked outside I happened to notice that another young employee was drinking alcohol on the job just standing around outside.. As frustrated as I was, I kept my mouth shut but I don't understand how it's okay to drink on a job, but not let service dogs in that were made to help their ownersl inside. I would not recommend this place to anyone with service animals.
