Provided by YP.comI used A Storage Place while my home was being built. The owner was easy to work with and the unit was clean. Just what we needed.

Provided by YP.comMy family and I had a great experience with A Storage Place LLC. We had to store essentially all of our belongings for a few several months as we purchased and renovated a home. The location was convenient, clean and well kept. The owners made sure we had the space we needed and were taken care of. If I should need to store items in the future, this is where I'll go.

Provided by YP.comThis place is top notch as well as the owner. We were moving out of our house and had to store our stuff for a couple of months. It was a pleasure to work with these people. Got us in to a unit and treated us great. I will definitely use this storage place again. Thanks for making this easy during a time that was stressful.

Provided by YP.comA few years back I rented a storage unit from this company. During the summer Webb City had some sizeable rainstorms. I was called to the company and found my storage unit with about two inches of residual water in the unit, with indications the water level had earlier been several inches deep. I lost over a thousand dollars worth of my engineering reference books which were totally soaked as were considerable amounts of clothing and other miscellaneous items which were also destroyed by water damage. The owners of the company did not disagree that my property was ruined, but they refused to reimburse me for even one cent of my damages. They said they didn't believe it was their responsibility. Why then would one rent a storage unit if not to protect the items placed therein? I regret now that I didn't take them to small claims court. I think my experience shows the lack of character of the owners of this company.
I do understand the concerns listed above. The reviewer is correct in stating that Webb City had some sizeable rainstorms. The reviewer is also correct in stating that his possessions were impacted. Neither the renter nor the business wanted to see that happen. That storm was June 11, 2007. This is the highest historical rain amount in one day for Webb City. It rained 6.70 inches in one day. This resulted in massive flooding all over the region. Houses all over Webb City were impacted with flood waters. The city realized that there were serious and unforseen issues of water coming down several streets and a neighboring parking lot. I had no control over city storm water nor any knowledge that there would ever be a problem. The property is not built on a flood plain. After working with the city, consulting my attorney and insurance company, we all came to the conclusion that there was nothing in my power that could have stopped the city storm water runoff. There was no negligence on the part of my business. A storm of that magnitude was truly an act of God. We met with the city on several occasions to address any future issues and they developed and implemented plan for storm water runoff. We are very grateful to the city for addressing the issues, as are countless homeowners around Webb City. To the reviewer, as stated at the time, we are truly sorry for your loss. We did reimburse the rent for that month. However, we do understand that amount could not alleviate the disappointment of losing your belongings.
