My horses are currently under the care of a veterinarian that has been in my family for over 30 years, however as any animal lover has had to face a time in their lives that your doctor was just not in town.Here's my story.

I have a quarter horse that is due this weekend and my vet JUST happened to be going out of town.I was referred to Dr. Kasette to be a near by vet who could be on call should the unimaginable happen.

I called the clinic and stated my situation and was promised a call back which i never received.Not knowing what to do after a few weeks went by, I went to Country Care Clinic to try to touch base with Dr Kasette and left a note with her receptionist, and after a few days received a call from the receptionist stating that the doctor suggested I take my business elsewhere.

Why I asked? I ONLY LIVE 5 MINUTES FROM HER? I just needed to have someone to call IF tragedy strikes. .

They wouldn't even point me in the direction of another vet. . I guess all i can do now is pray
