I had taken a few hogs to Taylor's Processing

1807 Stadium Dr, Webb City, MO

The first time I went to them I didn't question.

the 2nd time i got less than i had gotten first time and hog was bigger they said it was packaged differently and i had gotten a bigger freezer . This time , when 450 lbs meat only gives 2 boxes of meat and a small box of sausage , And barely covers bottom of a small deep freezer which 350 lbs of meat should fill it . Something wrong in Denmark !

Sorry Taylors I can't afford to keep giving guys full pay for Half Hog ! wheres my ribs wheres my ham hocks ?

We have dealt with this meat processing company for years with no obvious problems until the last hog we had processed by them. We took a young guilt in to have it butchered. There was a boar hog taken in at the same time by another party. We got the meat and thought nothing about the meat until we began to consume it. It had a strong taste and smell to it, just like the meat from a boar hog has. We attempted to chalk it up to our imagination since we had not processed a hog for a few years. If we take another animal to be processed, I am sure we will look around for another meat processing company. I am sure mistakes are made at times but there was no excuse for a mistake then. We made it abundantly clear which hog was ours. We also questioned the amount of meat we received when we picked it up but was assured that that was all that our hog had produced.
