My Staff and I have over 10 years of experience working with children in school, childcare, and home settings. As a mother of a 16 month old, I made the decision to start a childcare in my home to use my professional background and give him, as well as other children, a safe, educational place to socialize, develop, and learn. My practice is rooted in Early Childhood Educational theory and my knowledge of child development. As summer begins I intend to plan my curriculum around outdoor activities as much as possible. Exploration, getting messy, and just being active outside are incredibly important to me. I also value a clean, safe, healthy, educational, literate -rich environment that is complemented by nurturing, loving caregivers.
