Started using the service several years ago. We always paid on time, never complained until we had an issue with the carrier tearing the trash bags and leaving the trash that fell out in front of our driveway. When they were contacted, they informed us that the 30 gallon trash bags were too heavy, so we switched to smaller white kitchen bags. A year passed without incident, then we had a problem with a black bear and built a cage for the trash cans. A few months passed and we noticed the tracks in the snow from the trash vehicle but none of our trash was picked up three weeks in a row. When contacted, Mr. Smalley was rude called us liars and suggested we were having another family put trash in our containers. We were then informed that he had a "by law" he only had to pick up 8 bags, (remember that we had to use 13 gallon kitchen bags), even though we only have three 30 gallon trash cans and there were 5 thirteen gallon bags on top from the previous two weeks they did not pick up our trash. Mr. Smalley or the company never informed us there was a problem. NEVER USE THIS SERVICE, they are rude, incompetent and lazy. Not worth the effort, it actually cost us more to use them than just taking the trash ourselves.
