I am a happy new Mazda customer. Highly recommend! My sales consultant was David Garcia and he was welcoming and very knowledgeable about Mazda products. We worked out a very good deal and I am happy with the product.

I started doing business with Mazda of Clearlake back in 2011 and recently purchased my 3rd CX-9. The staff from sales to service is nothing but professional at every turn and deliver a first class customer experience. I highly recommend anyone seeking a new vehicle or service provider of an existing one to stop in for a visit. Thank you Mazda of Clearlake; I'll see you soon.

Horrible experience. The only reason I bought a car from here was was because it was the car I wanted for sure and could not find anywhere else for the price. I did my research. Anyway Mr. Kizito started cool and energetic like any sales person would/should. I was ready to buy that day since I had did my homework and new what to expect being that I have back ground knowledge in business/finance and because I recently purchase the same car for the same price a several moths ago (it was flooded out during the May storm that hit Houston). So, i told him i wanted to finance the car (2008 Infiniti G35) and take it that day but he claimed the system to acquire loans was down and that id have to wait til the next day. So I did, trying to be patient. Came back the next day at the time I told him I would. He was not ready with any of the work to show me what they could offer on a loan. that took a good 20 mins. Finally he comes with a paper showing a break down of what monthly payments would look like. the payments were $100 over what I was expecting to pay according to the info I submitted. I told him that was too high. and he insisted this was correct and it was a great deal and it couldnt be better. i refused several times and asked him what my interest rate is. he did not even know and had to go ask the finance guy. he also went to "see what he could do for me" abt the high payments. he came back told me my low interest rate and showed me a different breakdown of the payments. he said there was some kind of mistake but it was fixed and that the new break down was correct. Still it was $50 more than I expected to pay especially with such a low interest rate. I refused again. and again he insisted the was the best I was gonna get anywhere, it was correct. he started getting annoyed and mad at me bc i wouldnt accept it. after he persistently suggested it was the lowest payment that it could be for the 48 month term. eventually he went back to the finance guy and recalculated my payments and when he came back it was exactly what I had been telling him what I was expecting to pay. Then, he acted as if he was on my side the entire time and said the finance guy kept messing up. Anyway, after this, went to fill out the paper work. I thought I was done with this dealership until I noticed my deposit was not drafted from my account. Sure enough two weeks later they call me begging for their money I owed them. Which was their fault for forgetting to take the money out of my account after they had made a copy of my card to do so, promising our business was done, then apparently shredding the copy of my card. Sorry this is so long but I had a horrible experience. And now mr. Kizito will not respond to my emails.

DO NOT BUY YOUR Cars From Here. They do not honor their warranties. My husband paid 2,000 dollars towards a warranty. Well last year,he went to the dealership to get the money from the warranty since we didn't use nothing but maybe 100 dollars on car parts towards it. My husband asked when we could get the money back. The guy got his manger and said to come back on July 29th 2015 and we would be able to get the money since it had to be some many yrs before we could get it back. Today 8-3-15 we went to get the money and the guy told my husband that it was void because they don't do that anymore. My husband told them that, we paid the 2,000 warranty because you said it would go towards parts for the car and if what ever money , we did not use, would be refunded back. The guys said well I guess you will have to get a lawyer because you not getting any money out of us. They said if we would have come before july that we would have received it, but because we came now it was void. They told us to come July 29th. So they lied to us there times then told him to leave like he was a criminal. The real criminal is Mazda of Clear Lake...NEVER ....EVER trust them. They liars and thief's!!!!!!!!!!!

FEEL CHEATED. I just bought a Mazda 3 from this dealer. I have the 3i model with some options which was originally quote for $22K (Drive-out Price). They added the EXTENDED WARRANTY of $2500 with some other items including the bodily injury insurance and all the taxes and tag which pump the actual price up to $26K. I have no idea the Sale Manager added all those things (He was rushing over those parts when was explaining the contract to me; and well, I signed it without hesitation). BTW, I put $10K down payment for the car!

When I came back to ask about the Extended Warranty, another guy showed up and he was extremely rude. He's not even take me to his desk but talk to me right in the middle of the hall. I asked to cancel the EW and he said I already signed the contract and there are nothing could be changed! I feel like he doesn't wanna work out stuff so I just worked away. I GUESS THAT'S HOW THEY DO. WHEN YOU COME BUYING, THE "GOOD GUY" IS THERE; WHEN YOU COME BACK FOR QUESTION, THERE THE "BAD GUY".

My wife bought a RAV4 V6 from Champion Toyota dealer and those things never happen, absolutely hassle free. She got the quote price for $26,600 (Drive-out) and it was exactly $26,600 when she signs the contract, as simple as that.

DON"T BE FOOLED BY THE FREE LIFETIME OIL CHANGE AND THE 10 ENGINE WARRANTY like I unfortunately did :( They will get something back on you! When you finished signing the contract, they'll treat you not as a customer but a burden!

I regret going with Mazda of Clear Lake. I will give them 1 star (zero if I could) for every review online.

I DON"T RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS DEALER

I had a similar experience to that reported below by another costumer. The sales person had offered me a car price guarantee and he honored it, but when I went to the finance person, he tried to push other things that we did not need. I clearly stated that I just needed the vehicle and no extra items like extended warranty, which is a rip-off. In the end, he filled the contract and a number of other papers. When I got home I started to review the numbers carefully and they did not add up. I checked and again and again, and wrote him because there was a difference of $300.00. After multiple tries to get him to respond, his answer was that it was a because of a pain sealant package that they had added, which was never discussed, not included in the invoice or even offered. I am trying to get that reimbursed.

I have three complaint about t...

I have three complaints about this dealer on the same sale transaction (2014 Mazda 6).

1) Sales consultant (David Alvarez) and I agreed on a price for the vehicle. I committed to buy it via Mazda financing. When signing the paperwork the initial document I saw was with the correct purchase price. I quickly scanned through the financing document and I didn't bother to use calculator to add amounts since sales (David) and financial consultant (Andre Trevino) seemed trustworthy. Assumed that the price is the same on all the other documents. After I got back home and realized that they added $300 on top of agreed price plus $147 optional documentation fee. I called them multiple times and left messages. They didn't bother to call me back. Seems like this hoax is a common practice after reading other similar reviews for this dealership. They first give you an impression that they are trustworthy then fool you by taking advantage of your trust. Be aware and be VERY VERY careful reviewing and singing ANY document with them. This can't be just an honest mistake.

2) The vehicle I purchase was a brand new vehicle and was on the sales floor as a demo vehicle. I test drove a similar vehicle in their inventory so that they get the floor vehicle out. I didn't test drive the vehicle I'm purchasing assuming that it was checked and in prefect working condition. I drove out the vehicle and realized that the A/C wasn't working. I returned the vehicle the same day and vehicle needed to stay in service dept for 2 days.

3) Dealer didn't attach buyers temporary tag to avoid additional cost. They left temporary "Dealer" tag. I was told by a police office that carrying a dealer tag w/o being a dealer is subject to fine. Dealer didn't tell me about this. I already submitted a review to mazdausa.com and Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.
