The Buzz advertises services (for a fee of course) to unlock iPhones. In early March I presented the owner with my Sprint locked iPhone 5. The fee he told me was around $64 but when I paid w/ a credit card (to protect myself), I was charged just over $72.50. Apparently the owner doesn't know Texas laws prohibiting tacking on extra fees for using credit cards. Over the next 3 weeks the owner never obtained the code from his 3rd party vendor to unlock my phone. Each time I stopped by for an update it was "Still waiting, still waiting." At the end of the third week both he and I received an email from the 3rd party vendor saying they had been unable to unlock my phone & a refund was due. Six weeks later the owner of the Buzz has yet to apply a refund to me or issue a credit to my card. The owner's excuse? He claims the 3rd party vendor has yet to issue HIS refund. Since when is one conditional on the other? Sloppy service. Avoid this business like the plague.
