Disappointing is an understatement! When we moved here in Aug. 2015, we needed carpet for our new home. We wanted to deal locally rather than one of the big box stores so we bought from People's. We purchased carpet/pad because it came with a warranty and with the expectation it would arrive in a week. While we waited .. and waited, trying to get feedback about a delivery date, we camped in our camper with our furniture crammed into the garage. At length we received a call from the manufacturer explaining their was a flaw in the finished product and they had to start over at the factory. He also called later to say it was on its way. Ok. It was installed and it looked nice .. for the first few months. At the end of a year it was looking very worn and shabby with pivot abrasions in several areas. My husband & I are retired with very little traffic in our home with the exception of family who visit periodically. By contrast, in past years I have had very cheap carpet that looked better after 10+ years with heavy traffic from both children, adults and dogs. I made an effort to exercise the warranty but I got no help at all. After many calls, emails, etc. the factory rep. and Billy Wagner came to see the carpet. The rep. determined that, irregardless of the fact that we had maintained prescribed cleaning and had a professional clean the carpet in a year according to warranty, that the brushes on our vacuum (that worked just fine the day before when I vacuumed) were not working properly and went on to suggest that perhaps we had chosen the wrong product! Certainly, but how could we have known? We relied on a warranty and trusted Peoples to be trustworthy. They would not honor the warranty even in the smallest way. I have a background in small business as well as customer service and I know this is a sorry way to treat people. That said, we are now seeking a better retailer to purchase a replacement for this faulty product and make our next purchases.

If you get an estimate from People's Furniture get it in blood, because they don't honor written estimates. They will replace your flooring and then add $600 to your bill because they "misquoted" and "misordered".

Not bad

Our experience was certainly not as bad as the other review. A nice lady helped us find just what we wanted at a price that was not bad at all. I would recommend others to not overlook this small town furniture store. Shop around, you will find People's Furniture as good as any others in the area.

I never write reviews. However, I have to share this in hopes of helping other consumers. We recently shopped @ People's Furniture in Weiser & had the most unprofessional & rude customer service ever experienced! And come to find out that it was with the owner, Susan Wagner...un-real! In these tough economical times & in such a small town...not a smart business plan for that owner! I would NEVER recommend shopping at this horrible store!
