I lived in Welcome for 8 years.There was terrible service. If you leave within a half mile of the post office, mail must be picked up at the post office. It is not delivered to the residences. The hours were inconvient for anyone that had to work during the day. They were open on Saturdays for an hour and half, but I had to work every other Saturday so that didn't help me much. The employees were rude and unhelpful. Numerous times my mail was put into the wrong PO box. This actually lead to one of my child support checks being stolen because they couldn't get it right. I also recieved credit card offers and important notices that should have gone to other people. If I was a dishonest person, I'd could have easily used it as an oppurtunity to steal someone's identity. This happened on a regular basis (numerous times a week) I brought this to their attention, yet nothing was done. They claimed that a mistake was never made. It is ridiculous that I couldn't even rely upon the US postal service to get things right.
