The SWGS has been the hub of South Wellfleet for 60+ years. It is located on Rt. 6 in a shopping plaza that contains the Wellfleet Chamber of Commerce, the Blue Willow Bakery, Seaside Liquors, the South Wellfleet Post Office, Little Capistrano bike rentals, and the Beachcomber Store. Historically, the SWGS has been of the “anchor” of this plaza drawing many shoppers, beach-goers, and bikers. Its location just off Rt. 6 makes it a convenient stop for drivers heading north and south on Rt. 6. It is also located at the end of the Rail Trail Bike Path.
