I purchased 14 bales of pine needles on 7-25-15, some of which were faded/dull and not golden brown. Several bales contained something like shredded magnetic tape, many pine cones/sticks, and much dried grass. On 7-27-15 I spoke with someone identified as owner Steve Stroup & he indicated that he would talk with his supplier, check current stock for problems, and call me back. After no follow-up call, I attempted contact with the owner on 9-21-15 and left my contact info upon being told that he was busy with a customer. To the best of my knowledge there has been no attempt to contact me re these problems or offer restitution. I had had similar quality issues with needles purchased during March/April 2015 and mentioned that to the owner during my July call. Please note that a couple of years ago I purchased 216 bales ($900) from this supplier & complimented him on the quality, but due to recent poor product quality and lack of responsiveness, I have found a better supplier.

I have visited this store at least once a week for about 6 months (I do furniture restoration). I have always been pleasantly greeted and treated while there and if a price dispute occurs, they have always given me the lower price. I love the hometown feel of this Ace. It is well-organized but still comfortable and has much less of a commercialized feel. I absolutely love this place.

Bought a hanging flower from them a few years ago. Lady at the register literally took the price tag off, and rang it up at a higher price. I've never gone back, and will not go back.

Be careful of this place!!! RIP OFFS!!!!



During the Snow-pocalypse (February 2015) I needed to get Ice melt and a snow shovel. I called and was told that they had snow shovels in stock. When we arrived the shovels were about 6 inches wide; not effective in my book. So we figured we were there so lets get Ice melt for the driveway. So i paid at the cashier and was told to drive to the side and someone would load it. WELL they loaded something, but not what I wanted. They decided that an equal substitute would be water softener salt. this stuff is twenty times the size, won't fit through my spreader and completely useless to me. OOOOOO and did i mention the price I paid for the ice melt was 14.99... but what they gave to me is sold for 5.99$!!!



I called and spoke to the manager that said this was completely acceptable and that if i did not return it that day (45 mins till close) they would not refund me my money. They "do not do returns on this item". Customer satisfaction means nothing to these people and they are looking to rip you off at any moment. Go to the ig box store, you'll save money and hassle!!!



COMPLETE RIP OFFS. Everything is over priced and poor customer service. Price gouging is the first goal!!!!
