DISREPUTABLE! A friend took a tv here to have it repaired. They charged $20.00 for an estimate (reasonable) and told her the part was $300.00. She decided to throw it away and just purchase a new tv (42" Vizeo 1080p). She gave the broken set to me because I dabble in these things. I hooked it up to my antenna and Hdmi cables and plugged it in. EVERYTHING WORKED FINE! Comstock had done either 1 of 2 things to check out this TV. 1; they did nothing to see what was wrong with the tv and decided to charge her $300.00 or, 2: the did what I did and determined there was nothing wrong with the tv and decided to charge $300.00 for repairs hoping that she would either pay the $300.00 or just let them dispose of the tv. Either way Comstock would make out like bandits. My friend is not tech savvy and when she got a message on the screen but no longer received any signals she thought it was broke and she took it to be repaired. There are only 2 options: Comstock did not check out the tv at all or they did and decided to cheat a customer. In any case they are reprehensible. Her tv had just needed to auto tune the cable channels that it had lost for some reason and it was not broken at all. This guy is incompetent, lazy and just plain a thief.
