My son went here for self-defense training and then I started taking classes myself. It is a fun way to train for very realistic self-defense. The instructors are really dedicated to helping you to become a better person all around, not just physically (but that definitely happens!).

Fantastic program with self-defense training for the whole family! Superior instruction with phenomenal lessons. If you take self-defense seriously, then you have to check this place out!

My daughter has learned so much about respect and discipline, in addition to self-defense techniques. I am very happy we signed her up almost 2 years ago.

Grand Master Rhoades is truly a rarity – an instructor with superior skills and technique who cares passionately both about the wellbeing of his students and with upholding the proud tradition of the martial art of Jin Jung Kwan Hapkido. Having studied in both WTF and ITF Taekwondo for many years I find the self defense system that is Jin Jung Kwan to be both practical and effective. Also, the new national headquarters training facility in Wentzville, MO is an awesome place to train with awesome instructors who care about your growth as a martial artist and a person!

We went in to look things over and find an alternative to team sports for my son who was 6 at the time. What we came out with was an eye opening experience for the whole family. It is a great enviornment for children of all ages, as well as adults. We not only signed our son up for the Black Belt Club Program...We signed up the whole family. The instructors and staff here are great role models for children and serve as an example that society should strive for. From the beginners class, to Empower for Women, to the elite Combatives class...This is the best program you will find anywhere. Hapkido-USA sets the standard in Martial Arts. You have to check it out in person to see it for yourself!

What can I say...this is the best of the best when it comes to martial arts. When I started, I was looking for a school that could teach me true self defense. What I received in return was a complete system built on traditional Christian values, and the benefits of an extended family. If you are looking for a great place to take your kids or even join yourself this is the place for you. No need to go to Karate PLUS or other schools, when you have everything you need at Hapkido-USA. This is the real deal!!

I have to say from the very first day I walked into Hapkido USA I have been blown away by the level of excellence which is pursued there. This level of excellence is demonstrated from Grand Master Rhoades all the way down to the youngest students. The facility is incredible and once you walk in I don't know how you would choose another school. Great place and great models!
